Muscles - if you don't use them, you'll lose them!

After a certain age, most of us are more worried about losing our minds than our muscles. But frail muscles are responsible for the falls that lead to broken bones, hospitalizations and worse.

British researchers found two factors that are responsible for muscle deterioration. First, older bodies aren’t able to create new muscle as easily as younger ones. Second, the process that protects muscle tissue from breaking down functions less efficiently later in life.

Now for the good news. Moderate weight lifting turned back the clock!!
